About
SPORTIME VBC provides young athletes, ages 7-18, with a comprehensive training program designed to introduce the game in a fun, competitive learning environment, supervised by the best volleyball coaches on Long Island. VBC players have opportunities to train and play indoors, year-round, and during the summer months, outdoors on the beach and grass as well. Our vast array of competitive and developmental team programs provides boys and girls of various ages and skill levels the opportunity to learn, play and develop a true passion for the game.
VBC players also received program discounts on summer camps and clinics, and private training.

VBC Team Update
Hi VBC Nation,
We hope that you are all enjoying the holiday break week and that our players are making the most of their time off. Our club had a very busy President’s weekend with lots of exciting tournaments this upcoming weekend as well. Please see below for this week’s important club updates.
VBC Boys
Results:
16-USA competed at the Boys’ Atlantic Northeast Championship in Manheim, PA, gaining valuable early season experience against strong competition. The boys battled through some tough matches and will use this weekend as a springboard to keep improving and prepare for future competitions.
VBC Girls
Results:
We had 21 teams participate in the Capitol Hill Classic in Washington, D.C. this past weekend. Great job to all of our athletes and coaches who represented SPORTIME VBC throughout the event. And thank you to all the parents for helping us make this a safe and enjoyable weekend for the girls. For complete tournament results, please follow this link.
Upcoming this weekend:
- 16 Gold, 16 Black, 17 Gold, and 17 Black head to New Orleans to compete in the 2026 NIKE Music City Championships, Jazz Edition.
- 15 Purple will play in CALI 15’s tournament.
- 14 White and 14 Silver will enjoy a home tournament and compete in SPORTIME 14 Club 2.
- 12 Gold and 12 Black will compete in SPORTIME 12 Open 1.
Special shout out to our SPORTIME 11s teams, representing our first ever teams at this age level, who will also be participating in our SPORTIME 12 Open tournament this weekend.

FREE VBC Open Gyms
The last free open gym will take place on Thursday, 2/19 (Boys 10:00 AM–12:00 PM, Girls 12:00 PM–2:00 PM). This session is for current VBC members only.

VBC Team Update
Hi VBC Nation,
It’s hard to believe that we are already this deep into the season. The intensity at practices are heating up, weekend competitions are in full swing, and it has been a lot of fun watching our kids compete, grow, and cheer each other on. Please see below for this week’s important club updates.
VBC Boys:
Coming Up this weekend:
We have 14 teams competing in the NYC Open at the Javits Center in New York City. Good luck to: 14-2, 14-3, 15-3, 15-4, 15-Lynbrook, 16-3, 16-4, 16-Lynbrook, 17-3, 17-4, 17-Lynbrook, 17-Lynbrook 2, 18-2 and 18-3.
VBC Girls:
Purple Team Practice Change (2/8)
Please note that practice for 13 Purple, 14 Purple, 15 Purple, and 16 Purple has been moved to 11:00 AM–1:00 PM this Sunday, February 8. Alyssa has already sent out a reminder and the updated time is reflected on your practice calendars.
Results:
GEVA Girls Power League Event #1:
- 13 Gold 0-3 in pool play and won their crossover
- 14 Gold 3-0 in pool play and won their crossover
- 15 Gold 2-1 in pool play and won their crossover
- 17 Gold 1-3 in pool play and lost their crossover
GEVA Girls 18 Open 2:
18 Gold went undefeated on the day going 4-0 and finished in first place
Sportime Amagansett 16’s:
16 Gold, 16 Black and 16 Red competed at Sportime Amagansett where 16 Black finished in 3rd place going 3-1 overall on the day and 16 Gold went 5-0 and finished in first place. For complete tournament results please click here.
Sportime 14 Club #1:
14 White, 14 Silver, 14 Purple competed at Sportime Bethpage Multisport. 14 Silver went 2-1 and finished in 3rd, while 14 White went 3-1 and finished in first place. For complete tournament results please click here.
Sportime 15 Club #2:
15 Red went 2-1 and finished in 2nd place
GEVA Girls 16 Club 2
16 White and 16 Silver competed at Queens College and ended up facing each other in the finals, with 16 Silver finishing in 2nd place and 16 White finishing in 1st.
Coming Up this weekend:
On Sunday, 17 Aqua will be competing in Sportime 17 Club #1 and 13 Black, 13 Red, & 13 Purple will be competing in the Sportime 13 Club #2.
All schedules and locations will be shared by Alyssa if they have not been already.
